The JNC Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, review, provide and coordinate personal and clinical care carried out by the Nursing Unit. The RNs also help as required by the JNC management team to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
Duties
Lead a team of carers to deliver best practice healthcare to every resident.
Provide comprehensive nursing assessments.
Assist in the planning and implementation of nursing care for individuals.
Manage medication administration.
Liaison with medical practitioners.
Liaison with family members.
At all times provide nursing services that enhance independence, integrity, and lifestyle.

Benefits
Multiple casual positions.
Starting salary of $47 p/h (depending upon experience and qualification).
25% of casual loading.
12% Super + Penalties & Allowance.

COVID - 19 Requirements
Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid - 19 vaccine is encouraged.
Required
Minimum Bachelor of Nursing.
Previous demonstratable experience in relevant nursing field.
Knowledge of State and Federal Aged Care legislation - Aged Care Act 1997 & Principles.
Current and unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience and willingness to train, coach and mentor all levels of clinical staff.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills - both in writing and verbal.
Working with Disability Services Yellow Card or be eligible to apply.
Influenza Vaccination 2025.
Current Senior First Aid + CPR Certificate.
Preferred
Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in an Aged Care health setting as a Registered Nurse.
