Job Description

About the Role

This role performs routine duties in the aged care industry which may include working as part of a team to meet the support needs of residents to assist them in the residential/community environment. An Environmental Services Officer (Support Staff) will do various tasks across cleaning, laundry, and catering departments.

Duties

  • Utilising machinery to clean all floor surfaces to ensure safety.
  • Vacuuming, mopping office and communal areas.
  • Serving meals and ensuring a friendly, interactive experience for our residents.
  • Ironing, folding, packing, loading/unloading of washers and dryers.
  • Other general duties as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with Jimbelunga Nursing Centre policy and process.

COVID - 19 Requirements

  • Immunisation history showing evidence of up-to-date COVID vaccinations.

Requirement

  • Reliability and shift flexibility.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Up-to-date Flu Vaccination year 2023.
  • NDIS worker clearance (yellow card) or eligible to apply.
  • Driver's license.
