Job Description

About the Role

Effectively work in collaboration with the finance team to administer and monitor finance functions in order to ensure ATSICHS Brisbane finances are maintained in an accurately and timely manner. The Payroll Officer will have duties and responsibilities specifically to the accounts payable and payroll functions.

Duties

  • Accurately process and manage payroll transactions for employees.
  • Ensure compliance payroll regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records on employee profile.
  • Collaborate with our People and Culture team to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll-related legislations.

Benefits

  • Permanent full time position.
  • Annual salary of $64,000 +11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay).

Desired Skills and Experience

COVID-19 Requirement

  • Immunisation history showing  you have received two doses of a Covid -19 vaccine is encouraged.

Required

  • Minimum 5years experience in payroll or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislations, and compliance.
  • Proficient in using payroll software and MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Preferred

  • Certificate IV in accounting and Bookkeeping/Diploma of Accounting or higher.
  • Previous experience in ELMO and Pay RTA.
  • Sound knowledge of modern awards and experience with interpretation.
